Welcome to OpenAcu
Welcome to our new scheduling and charting system, called OpenAcu! If you've booked an appointment with us sometime in the last five (5) years and we've created an account for you in OpenAcu.
Patient Portal
The patient portal allows you to schedule appointments, view your appointment history, and update your personal information. Note: OpenAcu will only show your history as of April 7, 2025. If you need to see your past history, please email us a records request.
Your username is the email address we have on file. The first time you log in, you’ll need to click the “Forgot your password?” link on the login page. This will allow you to create a password. Click here to log in.
Once you’ve logged in, click on "Your Account" in the upper right header and scroll down to "Edit Account Details." Please add your phone number and billing address as, unfortunately, we were unable to import most of them (due to the import parameters).
Appointment Booking
If you had previously booked future appointments in Schedulicity, those have been transferred over to OpenAcu and you should see them after logging in to the Patient Portal. The same goes for any future appointments you’ve previously asked one of our practitioners to reserve for you.
Starting today, you can also book new appointments in OpenAcu. (If you prefer to book appointments over the phone, that is still an option.)
Confirmations and Reminders
You'll automatically receive email confirmations and appointment reminders. If you'd prefer, you can opt-out of email reminders and or opt-in to text message appointment reminders from the "Your Account" page.
Email reminders will say "This is a reminder of your upcoming oa_services appointment." If you've had an appointment this week, you've probably already received an email like that.
Payments
Unlike Schedulicity, we are able to accept payments with OpenAcu. You will still be able to use a credit card in-person, as long as we have your billing address in OpenAcu. Similarly, if you tend to pay for your appointments using our online payment link, you’re welcome to continue using the link, and you will need to add your billing address to OpenAcu.
(If you prefer to pay by cash or personal check, you do not need to add your address or payment information.)
Credits and Tokens
If you have a dollar amount of credit on file or if you owe for previous treatments / missed appointment fees, those values will appear in your account under “Credit.” If you have prepaid for your treatments, those are displayed in "Tokens." For example, if you recently purchased a 5-pack and have used 2 visits from the pack, you'll see 3 tokens remaining.
