Our Walk-in Policy

Because it takes a bit longer, we require that you make an appointment for your initial acupuncture visit.  We often have same-day appointment availability.

Otherwise, though we generally operate by appointment, we are happy to accept walk-ins during our business hours as long as you are willing to wait a little bit to be treated.

So if you have a sudden headache, sense the beginnings of a cold, or just feel stressed and need to have a break, come on over!

Missed Appointments

Acupuncture: To sustain our low-cost clinic, we depend on having a busy schedule and giving a high volume of acupuncture treatments.

Please notify us of any changes or cancellations at least 24 hours before your appointment time, so that another person can re-book your time slot.

If you must cancel with less than 24 hours notice, we request that you make a suggested donation of at least 1/2 (half) the amount you would have paid for your treatment to help cover our costs.

The donation can be made at your next clinic visit or through our Paypal donation site. If you have prepaid sessions, you can also ask us to mark off one of your prepaid treatments on file to cover your missed appointment. If you frequently miss or cancel appointments, we may need to ask you to walk-in for treatments rather than schedule appointments.

Massage: A massage appointment that is missed, rescheduled or cancelled with less than 24-hour advance notice will be charged in full for the time booked at the $1 per minute rate.

Safety Reminders

  • Please wear shoes while walking around the clinic.
  • We support a fragrance-free environment. Please do not wear any scented products in the clinic.
  • If you are contagious, please place your blankets in the laundry bins provided next to the blanket shelves. See this post for more information.
  • We are not responsible for any lost or stolen personal items.
